Thank you for your blessings—
Every day when I get up I always try to thank God for all the blessings he has given to me as well as others.
What a wonderful life God has given me especially compared to so many other people in the world.
Have you ever stopped to think about the life of Jesus when he was physically on this earth? I ran across a story of the life of Jesus recently that really makes us think. It also causes us to realize how fortunate WE are.I would like to share the story with you.
ONE LONELY LIFE
He was born in an obscure village
He was the child of a peasant woman
He grew up in another obscure village
He worked in a carpenter shop until He was thirty
He then became an itinerant preacher
He never wrote a book
He never had a family of His own
He never went to a theater
He never visited a big city
He never traveled over two hundred miles from His birthplace
His preachings aroused the authorities who arrested Him
His friends deserted Him
His closest friend denied he even knew Him
He suffered the mockery of being nailed upon a cross
His exeuctioners gambled for His only property…His robe
He was placed in a borrowed grave through the pity of a friend
He would never be heard from again, they predicted…
…And then there was Easter Sunday
This,in my opinion, reinforces my belief that every thing is going to be ok.
HAPPY EASTER! YEA GOD!
Update on Hal: I had new scans this week and it appears that the cancer is still stable,no new growths or enlargements of the existing tumors. I am still on daily oral chemo with IVs every two weeks of Avastin, another med that works in conjunction with the chemo, additionally I consume 6 to 8 pain pills a day.I feel good about 80% of the time, for which I am very thrilled about. Please continue to keep my family and me in your thoughts and prayers.
If you would like a copy of the little book I send out ”HEALED OF CANCER”please let me know. There is no charge. Please read it then pass it on.
Thanks for taking time to read my blog.
God Bless.Hal
