Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving to each of you.I apologize for not posting more often, but if you are like me our days are filled before we know it.

The past month has been filled with many fun and exciting events as well as some not as fun and exciting.

A couple of weeks ago 8 of my highschool buds and I went deep sea fishing in Orange beach al. the remaining fish are now living in fear that we may return.Dickie and I have made several trips to east Tennessee to visit grandsons.Gosh they are growing up fast.I have also had the honor to offer up the opening prayer and make the announcements at the Gathering, the church David and Paula Foster pastor. The realestate business continues to hold steady regardless of what the media would have you beleive. As many of you know I am active in Gildas Club,a cancer support group.Starting in Dec.we will be starting a new sub group:Motorcyclists with cancer. If you know anyone who has an interest in motorcycles and has cancer please ask them to contact me for more details.Preston Taylor Ministries,an organization I have had the honor of working with for several years continues to grow.We are now serving approx 75 little people K-8 in our after school program. You might want to visit us on line.Just google Preston Taylor Ministries. We are always looking for volunteers.

Hals health:It seems hard to believe that that it has been a year and a half since I got the dreaded phone call “YOU HAVE CANCER”Since that time I admit I have had many ups and downs.I thank God that the ups have far outweighed the downs and I feel very fortunate that God continues to bless me.Last week I was at St Thomas, the hospital not the island, for my six week scans. The cancer is still stable.I am still on a clinical trial that requires daily oral chemo as well as every other week infusions. The only downside is the fatigue caused by the pain meds.So as I reflect on this Thanksgiving season I realize how much I have to be thankful for.

I would like to wish each of you and your families a blessed Thanksgiving season.

Hal
