HO HO HO
Merry Christmas to each of you.It seems hard to beleive that another year has rolled around. In reflecting back over 2007 I can’t do anything but thank God for all He has done for me.It has been a year and a half since I was diagonsed with cancer. It seems that I feel better every day.My last scan showed no new growth yea God.I am still on daily meds with infusions every two weeks and new scans every six weeks.
2007 has not been my best year from a business stand point however many neet things have happened.Just to mention a few.I had the honor of serving as chaplin for The Greater Nashville Association of Realtors and have been asked to serve again for 2008.We celebrated the grand opening of Preston Taylor Ministries in the spring of the year and now minister and work with approx. 65 k-8 little people each day.I have had the opportunity to counsel with a number of people with cancer. In fact I am working on a internet based ministry”Christians With Cancer”christians with cancer .org.We hope to launch this site by the first of Feb.2008.[pleased stay tuned]Another highlight of 2007 was having the opportunity to deliver the message at the Gathering church on Fathers Day,when I spoke on the 5 Ts of Fatrerhood.
All in all my life has been very good. One advantage of cancer is that you seem not to put things off as much as you might have at one time.I am looking to all the fun things in store for 2008.
As we enter into this season please remember all those less fortunate than we and also please keep all of our men and women in uniform in our prayers as they continue to protect us and make our freedoms possible.
Thanks so much for taking time to read my blog.
Please keep in your prayers,a friend of mine who is going thorough some tough finiancial struggels while trying to raise her son. Also, another friend of mine whose 30 year old daughter was just diagnosed with MS as well as one of my nephews with the same diagnoses. And finially please pray for all nonbelivers especially those with life threating illness.Thanks.
As I close I would like to wish you A joyous Christmas Season.
Hal
